Edge of Day is three squares of weathered steel, each crossed by a single thin line of light: the last glow at the edge of the world as the sun goes down. Quiet, heavy, and industrial, with just a flash of color holding the eye.

Every layer is steel. The plates are left raw and rusted, the horizon bands are polished and finished in automotive candy paint in orange, teal, and absinthe green, and a row of yellow zinc hex bolts runs beneath each line like a seam. The construction is never hidden; it's part of the piece.

  • Set of 3 square panels, each 10.5" H × 10.5" W × under 1" D (two layers of steel), about 2 lbs each
  • All steel: rusted steel plates with polished, candy-painted horizon bands in orange, teal, and absinthe green, joined with exposed hex bolts
  • Each panel has a cutout on the back with a slot in each direction, so it hangs on a single nail or screw, in a row or stacked vertically
  • Each panel is signed and dated on the back by Amber Klinsky
  • One of a kind. Hand-finished color and rust mean no two pieces are alike.
  • Made by hand at the Refinerii studio in Southeast Texas
